It has a few features that are better and not available on the other ones. Unable to download from Nexus mods website I've recently started to play Skyrim again and I've wen't to mod it however, I am unable to download anything from - this issue has nothing to do with a mod manager (NMM, Mod organiser, etc), it is an issue on the website itself. Vortex is the nice middle ground between Nexus Mod Manager (NMM) and Mod Organizer (MO). Nexus mods won't download MaI've tried downloading serveral mods, but they just never seem to start downloading neither through the mod manager of the manual download. Due to Nexus changing the format of links, older links wont work if you find them, most commonly on a youtube video (even if the mod is still being updated). even after several restarts, logins, reselects of the nxm-link-handling option there is no reaction after clicking on a MM Download Button in the Browser. If the Nexus Mod Manager still doesn’t work, then switching to Vortex can be helpful for downloading mods. Mods I know existing on the website not showing up when I search, having to resort to google to find them.
